Asim personal

My name is Asim Hanif. I am 29 years old and was born in 1977 in Oslo, Norway. I have lived in Denmark since I was 6 years old. My parents are from Pakistan, where we usually travel to in our vacations.

My main interests are it, cars, international politics and studies in cultural, religous and ideological affairs. This blog is created to share my thougts about the it-business and more specific about Entreprise-/IT-Architecture, strategy, planning, management/governance and systemdevelopment. Since I have close roots in Pakistan, I am also much interested in outsourcing of it-work to Pakistan

I speak and write fluently Danish, English, Urdu, Punjabi and used to be fluent in German a long time ago.

For the time I am working as IT-Architect at the IT-Strategic Office of Ministry of Finance - Agency for Governmental Management (Økonomistyrelsen under Finansministeriet). I started on this job on the 1st of march 2006 and before that I was employed as IT-Architect at the private firm KMD AS. I have been at KMD for about 4,5 years, where I had different roles and was involved in many different it-projects.

I have a B.Sc.e. from Engineering College of Copenhagen and Master of IT in Softwaredevelopment (partime) from IT-University of Copenhagen. Read about my CV here.
